Well would you look at that, I appear to have a blog on this here website thingy. I’m sure I used to write on here once upon a time, perhaps it’s something I should be doing!
Okay, in all seriousness, I really have let my blog slide. I originally intended to update weekly when I started the first draft of my new book, but with the run up to Christmas, coupled with technical problems, that went by the wayside. I say technical problems but what I really mean is ‘hopeless internet’. We live in a village with an antiquated telephone exchange and periodically the exchange decides to lose sync with various houses in the village, we of course are usually one of those lucky houses.
So ever since the holidays ended I’ve been in catch up mode, and I’m beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. When I’m all caught up I need to make sure I remain organised, and not lose entire days on Twitter (as if I’d do that!). My plan is to start my days with an hour or so of tweeting/social media/blogging, then deal with any email I have, and then the rest of the day I can devote to writing/editing etc. That’s the plan anyway, now I just have to stick with it. Of course true to form today has gone completely pear shaped but we’ll pretend that didn’t happen eh?
Whilst I was on my little hiatus Last Regress made a few appearance around the internet, and I made a couple of appearances too, so I’ll list those websites at the end of my post. I’ve also got my final Amazon promo for Last Regress starting tomorrow so apologies in advance I will be blogging about that too. Of course I’ll still be listing the book on Amazon but I’m going to be looking at other venues and formats for publication so I’ll not be renewing my KDP select membership this term.
Now, here are my adventures on the internet for November and December!
Wow, that was quite a list but I think I’m all caught up… for now! I suppose I should go and do some of that writing I mentioned.
I’m getting confused now the clocks have changed again. What I do know is that it’s getting dark very early and the weather is turning cold and wet! Strangely I kind of like it though, maybe it’s something to do with being a child of winter, maybe it’s just because we get to wear better clothes at this time of year that hide all lumps and bumps 🙂
We’re in the final countdown to Halloween and I love it. It’s kind of scary to think that we’re about to hit November though, where did the year go? I’m not doing NaNo but I am throwing myself headlong into writing Running For A Life come November 1st. That’s kind of my starting pistol! So I won’t exactly disappear, but I’ll probably only update once a week and catch up with Twitter/Facebook once a day for a while. Excuse me if I seem like auto-tweet girl!
So today I am interviewed by Nicole Hill’s World of Paranormal Romance for her Indie Author Spotlight on her 31 Days of the Paranormal feature. Check it out here 🙂
Also, don’t forget Last Regress is free 29th-31st October to celebrate Halloween.

Everyone in the US who is in the path of these horrible storms, I hope you are all safe and well. I love stormy weather, but not when it’s out of control and dangerous like this. Stay safe xx
What I’ve been doing and what I’m going to be doing (or rather what I’ve promised myself I’ll be doing)
Wow, it seems that everything goes quiet around here for a while and then suddenly it all starts to happen at once. The calm before the storm perhaps.
First off I had a fantastic review for Last Regress on Books and Movies Reviews blog, huge thanks to Roberto for such wonderful compliments 🙂
Next, Page Readers were kind enough to welcome me to their site for an interview, many thanks to Nanci.
I now have a billboard for Last Regress over in the Paranormal Books section at Black Caviar Book Club
Friday brought another lovely review from Minding Spot blog, thank you very much Wendy.
To round off the week I also had a great review from Reading… Dreaming blog, thank you so much Ruty 🙂
So, quite a week last week!
This week I have to cram a heck of lot into not very much time. Today I’ve been catching up from having taken the weekend off from the internet (and I also had my hair cut off – maybe I should take the plunge and replace my author photo!), tomorrow I will lose at least half the day to hospital appointments, then I need to start planning my Halloween promotion (fun times :)), I have guest posts to write, I have a blog post for my own blog that’s eating away at my brain…
There’s something else I should be doing, what could it be?
Oh yes, write, I have to write somewhere in the middle of all that.
It’ll all be okay 🙂

What a nice way to start a Sunday afternoon.
I have a a new interview online today at A Buckeye Girl Reads website.
Many thanks to Colette for interviewing me 🙂
A proper blog update will follow later this week.
It’s been fairly quiet here as far as the Last Regress camp is concerned. September has been a slow month, and to be honest I’ve been a little caught up in my health concerns, but this morning put a big smile on my face for two good reasons.
I woke up this morning to find this lovely 5 star review waiting for me on Amazon.co.uk, and then I discovered that I was featured in an author interview & spotlight on JeanzBookReadNReview.
So all in all it makes for a happy Tuesday 🙂
